Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) has invited applications from eligible and interested candidates who belongs to India for filling up the posts of Assistant Manager for its various offices. Online applications are invited from eligible candidates before 05th September 2017.

Name of the Posts: Assistant Manager (General, Legal, Actuarial & Accounts)

No. of Vacancies: 30 (General – 20, Actuarial – 4, Accounts – 4, Legal – 2)

Job Location: All India

Educational Qualification:

 – For General Assistant Manager Post – Graduation from a recognized University with minimum 60% marks

 – For Actuarial Assistant Manager Post –

1. Graduation from a recognized University with minimum 60% marks, and
2. Pass in Nine (9) Papers of the Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI) Examination.

– For Accounts Assistant Manager Post –

1. Graduation from a recognized University with minimum 60% marks, and
2. ACA/AICWA/ACMA/ACS/CFA

– For Legal Assistant Manager Post – 1. Graduation from a recognized University with minimum 60% marks, and

1. Graduation from a recognized University with minimum 60% marks, and
2. LL.B with 60% marks

Age Limit:

As per the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India Recruitment 2017 Notification, candidates age should be between 21 to 30 years. Candidates should have been born not earlier than 6.9.1987 and not later than 5.9.1996 (both days inclusive). Relaxation to upper age limit will be applicable for the reserved category candidates as per the Government of All India norms.

Salary:

Selected candidates of Assistant Manager vacancies in IRDAI will be given a starting basic pay of Rs.28,150/- per month in the scale of Rs.28150-1550(4)-34350-1750(7)-46600-EB-1750(4)-53600-2000(1)-55600 (17 years) and other allowances, like Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance, Grade Allowance, etc., as admissible from time to time.

Selection Process:

Candidates for Assistant Manager vacancies in IRDAI will be selected through a country-wide competitive Phase – I “Online Preliminary Examination” followed by Phase – II “Descriptive Examination” at selected centers and Interview.

Application Fee:

  • General Candidates – Rs.650/-
  • SC / ST / PWD / Ex-Servicemen Candidates – Rs.100/- through online only mode.
